BBS Advocaten
A legal content pipeline that turns court RSS feeds into ready-to-publish blogs and social posts.
About BBS Advocaten
BBS Advocaten is a Dutch law firm in Cuijk (Noord-Brabant) that specialises in insurance law (verzekeringsrecht). It runs a nationwide practice and represents policyholders, not insurers, in disputes over claims, coverage and fraud allegations. Alongside insurance law the firm also handles liability, contract and civil-procedure matters, with its insurance-law specialism registered in the Dutch Bar Association's rechtsgebiedenregister.
The challenge
BBS Advocaten manually monitored the court's RSS feeds to find relevant rulings by category and keyword. For every ruling, someone had to write a blog post with a title, header and summary, plus a matching social post. On top of that they wanted to upload their own PDF documents and run them through the same content pipeline. Structurally this cost more than five hours a week. And in legal content those hours matter twice: a firm that publishes first on a new ruling tends to be the one read as the authority on it, so every hour spent writing by hand was also an hour where someone else could get there first.
The analysis
The legal content market rewards speed and relevance. Firms that publish first on a new ruling position themselves as the authority on it, which for a specialised insurance-law practice is exactly how it stays visible to the policyholders looking for help.
We mapped the full content process: from RSS monitoring and filtering, to the writing itself, the house-style requirements, and the publishing channels (blog plus social).
The bottleneck was not finding rulings, it was the manual translation into publishable content. Each ruling cost 30 to 45 minutes of writing, and those minutes were the difference between being early on a ruling and being late.
BBS also lacked a way to push their own PDF documents through the same pipeline, which created duplicate work.
What we built
RSS monitoring & filtering engine
An automated watcher that reads the court's RSS feeds for BBS, so no one has to scan them by hand anymore. It filters every incoming ruling against the categories and keywords that matter to the firm, and only the relevant ones move on into the content pipeline.
- Reads the court RSS feeds automatically against preset categories and keywords.
- Filters out the noise so only rulings relevant to BBS reach the next step.
- Replaces the manual monitoring that used to start every publishing cycle.
AI content + house-style generation
For each relevant ruling, the pipeline drafts a publishable blog post and a matching social post. It is the step that removes the 30-to-45-minute manual write-up per ruling, and everything comes out styled to the BBS Advocaten house style.
- AI-driven conversion of each ruling into a publishable blog post with a title, header and summary.
- Automatic generation of a matching social media post for the same ruling.
- Full styling in line with the BBS Advocaten house style, so output stays consistent and professional.
PDF-upload pipeline
BBS can also upload their own PDF documents and run them through the exact same automated content pipeline. That closes the gap that used to force duplicate work: their own material now becomes blog and social content the same way court rulings do.
- Upload of the firm's own PDF documents straight into the content pipeline.
- Each PDF runs through the exact same automated steps as a court ruling.
- Removes the duplicate work BBS had when handling their own documents separately.
