What is the difference between SaaS and a custom application?
A custom application is software for one company: your process, your people. A SaaS is a product that serves many customers at once, each with their own data, settings and invoice. That difference sits in the foundation: a SaaS is multi-tenant, has a billing layer with subscriptions and has to scale to thousands of users. Not sure which way to go? We think it through up front, because you only get to set the foundation right once.
How do multi-tenant and billing work in practice?
Multi-tenant means one platform serves many customers, with data cleanly separated so customer A can never reach customer B's records. On top of that comes billing: subscriptions, trials, monthly and yearly plans, and entitlements that decide who can do what. Payments through Apple, Google or your own payment provider sync in real time, so access rights and invoices always match.
Can my SaaS scale when things take off?

Who owns the IP and the source code?
You do. Everything we build is fully yours and so is the IP. You're not tied to us and you get all the source code. Want to develop it further yourself later, or bring in another party? You can, without being tied to us. And we agree the price up front, so there is no open invoice.
Can I start small as an MVP and build out later?
That is exactly our approach. You start with a working first version that actually does something, and build out as customers come in. That is how we built our own products too. We lay the foundation right away, so building out means adding to it.
